Salem Oregon homes in Crestview
Sandwiched between River Road in south Salem Oregon and the Candalaria neighborhood, lies the smaller neighborhood of Crestview. There are a few small subdivisions that make up this area and then a larger newer construction neighborhood. Most of this neighborhood was built in the 2004-2006 range with some of the homes on Gilbert street having been around a little bit longer. With their Arts and Crafts influences, the homes in Crestview were built by various small local builders. As such floor plans and amenities between homes are varied.
There isn’t a small neighborhood park for this area, but the location allows for quick access downtown, or just head across the street to Minto Brown for your park needs. Minto Brown has one of the off leash dog parks for Salem as well as trails around the park for a bike ride, walk, or jog. If that doesn’t work for your fitness needs, the Courthouse Athletic club is nearby with racquetball courts and a pool. When you are done with all that exercise, just walk over to the Salem golf club and go to Rudy’s. The crab cakes are some of my favorite in town.
