Located on the Northwestern edge of Salem Oregon, is a 55+ community called Salemtowne. The community offers a private 9 hole golf course and a community center with a swimming pool, exercise facility, library and RV parking. The community center is included in the HOA dues, but golf is extra.
Homes in the community are well maintained and range in size. Most are one story, but a few are two story and a bit larger. Most of the homes in Salemtowne sell in the $150,000-$250,000 range, but a few of the larger ones will go for a bit more.
They also have RV parking (which is limited) for home buyers that need space for an RV. If you are looking for an active senior community in Salem Oregon, then Salemtowne is nice choice.
